Location
‘SunDesk is located in Taghazout, a vibrant seaside Berber village in the north of Agadir, southern Morocco. This former laid-back fishing village with its world class surf spots was discovered by the hippies in the 70s and surf tourism has flourished since. Taghazout is the perfect place to enjoy the authentic Moroccan spirit paired with western a lifestyle.
Activities
When you’re not hard at work, there is much to do here.
Want to go for a run on the beach, catch some waves or stroll through the argan trees? Taghazout is the place for you.
Enjoy a relaxing steam bath, scrub down and massage at the hammam or visit one of the colourful souks (markets) nearby.
Taghazout is an excellent base to explore the rest of scenic Morocco. Take a day trip to Marrakesh, Essaouira or Mirleft.

SunDesk is so far the best coliving I’ve stayed at! And I stayed in many. This place is perfect for digital nomads, surfing lovers, and anyone who would like to experience slow life in the beautiful village of Taghazout.
No need to worry about anything at SunDesk! The coworking space has everything one may need for work - proper desks, office chairs, extra monitors, and super-fast internet. There is plenty of space for everyone. The rooms are very cozy and nicely designed. The house is kept very clean, as the cleaning ladies come every day (they do a great job!). The view from the rooftop is spectacular - you can literally see the entire Taghazout, the ocean, and the mountains in the distance. Perfect spot for sunsets and sunrises 🙂
Every day in the morning breakfast is served on the rooftop - delicious food, freshly made by talented cooking ladies <3 They even make their own granola and yogurt! Talking food: home-made lunches (often featuring typical Moroccan food) are prepared 4 times a week, and there is also BBQ every Tuesday. Absolute feast!
Magda and the hosts (Manale and Zina) put a lot of effort to make this place feel like home. They are very welcoming, and friendly and try to help with every request that you might have.

I loved my staying at Sundesk and do recommend staying there. Great facilities, very well cleaned and good, silent, spacious rooms. Manale and Zineb are the most amazing hosts and will help you with anything you need, they really make if you feel at home and give you all the tips about the best places and things to do. Breakfast is very good and complete. If you are a digital nomad and are looking for a good experience where you can meet other people living the same lifestyle Sundesk is the right place for you.

Das Sundesk Taghazout ist die beste Adresse für entspanntes Coliving. Ich komme seit vier Jahren regelmäßig zurück und habe das Team unglaublich in mein Herz geschlossen. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum, die Zimmer gemütlich, das Arbeitsumfeld super produktiv, die Sauberkeit phänomenal und das Essen und BBQ super lecker! Ich kann das sundesk voll und ganz empfehlen. SunDesk is one of my most favourite places on earth. I spent there several weeks in the winters of 2016/17/18 and 19 and for me there is no better place to get work done, relax, get some extra sun rays, enjoy great food and hang around with lovely people. The rooms are all beautiful, spotlessly clean and the working atmosphere is great. And on top, you'll get to know the most wonderful host Magda who always makes sure that your stay is just perfect. I had such an amazing experience at SunDesk! I stayed for two weeks, but wish I could have booked longer! I've always wanted to go to Morocco, and I'd heard such great things about SunDesk from other travelers, so I thought I'd check it out! Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Magda, Manale and Salah made me feel so welcome, right from the start. The community there was amazing! Loved having breakfasts on the terrace every morning with the group. The apartment is located right in the center of Taghazout, with several beaches within walking distance and lots of great restaurants nearby. The space itself was incredibly clean, well-laid out, and with great views! The internet was fast and consistent throughout my stay. It was the perfect place to explore a bit of Morocco, get some things done and meet new people at the same time! I will absolutely be making my way back to SunDesk!

SunDesk is an outstanding place to live and work. The coworking community here is so welcoming and so focused -- I think that is a testament to the SunDesk team and the atmosphere they've worked hard to create. The living quarters are cozy and SUPER clean. The breakfasts were delicious and filled with ridiculously funny, wonderful conversations. The surfing in Taghazout was a blast, even for a beginner like me.

I really enjoyed my stay in Sundesk. I loved the family vibe that Magda and Salma create with their lovely personalities in the house. My favorite working spot was the terrace with the view all over Taghazout, the ocean, and bay. Enough shade, plugs and fresh air to make it the perfect outside desk.

I enjoyed my stay in SunDesk immensely! The team were very welcoming and friendly. It's the perfect place where you can be very productive, and also relax when you need to. Plus, you meet great people coming from different parts of the world. SunDesk offers comfort, rich and delicious food, plus a cozy feeling that you may not find in hotels. I had an amazing week at SunDesk: I met really nice people from all over the world, the workspace is good, with good wifi and enough desks (perfect workspot on the terrace with sea view 🙂 Very nice breakfast and good beds... Sundesk is a magical place! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Sundesk. The staff is friendly as is the village. I enjoyed the view from the terraces. I came to Sundesk to be able to relax even as I worked on my freelance assignments. I was able to do both easily! I am not a surfer, but I was able to swim, relax, and read on the convenient beaches. The coworkers were all super cool! I was able to make friends and go out to dinner or to the beach with very interesting people. I have only been gone two days, but I already miss the sounds of the waves lulling me to sleep and the delicious breakfasts in the morning! Magda and company have created a wonderful oasis in Morocco. I will be back again I am sure!

It is more than just a coliving and coworking space ‘cause Magda created a place full of love: collective breakfast every morning, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious local food, cozy rooms, a beautiful view over the sea, a very good internet connection, a nice work environment where you can be very productive and a place where you can meet other coworkers - and the best of all: Taghazout, where SunDesk is located, is a great surfing spot and the perfect place to learn surfing! Fantastic place and fantastic manager! I had a hard time to find some beautiful place at the coast of Morocco where it's really possible to work on my projects due to the slow internet connection. Somehow Magda managed to make her connection the fastest one and it's really good! And that's only one of the many things Magda arranged. She always seems busy making SunDesk even more awesome but still has a smile for everyone.

This space is truly amazing. Even in deep winter the sun is shining, the wifi connection is super, and the whole work vibe really enables you to be productive. I also thought the community was great - you have breakfast together with everybody every morning and it really feels like family. I recommend to everybody to check it out for themselves

Hi, Sundesk is a wonderful place to stay. Magdalena and her staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast at 9.00 am with al the co-workers is great. Wifi was excellent. Do not expect too much fun in Thagazout, it is a small place, ask Magdalena for the best restaurants. As a foodie I loved Mouja; great smoothies, juices and dishes. Love to come back some day

Wonderful place to work and the service is great. The breakfast is definitely 5 stars. The workplace is well organized, bed is fine, internet is also good. Nearby are delicious restaurants and everywhere you can get lovely smoothies. When the weather is fine, you can take a walk on the beach. So a place to return to.

Klasse co-living space. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man was geschafft bekommen will, tolle leute kennen lernen will, surfen (lernen) möchte und vieles mehr. Magda, die Inhaberin, ist super freundlich, hilfsbereit, schafft eine tolle Atmosphäre und hilft beim gemeinsamen Frühstück die kulturellen Unterschiede zu verstehen. Also super Erfahrung.

I am trying to find things to critique about Sun Desk and am struggling to find any. Location is great, organisation top class, and the food was so good I couldn't fit in my shorts! If you're looking for somewhere to work remotely and enjoy the coast of Morocco this is it. Food, views, close to surf, and very helpful, friendly staff. The only thing that beats Sun Desk are the crazy expensive 5 star hotels nearby, but you don't get the great company and home cooked meals! Thanks again to the team for such a lovely stay.

It was so hard to leave! I met some truly wonderful people here, from the hosts to the other guests. Views from the terraces are beautiful and it’s in a super convenient location. I recommend you bring earplugs as I did (and slept well with them), but I would say the same about anywhere I stayed in Morocco. I would happily come back again! Will miss this place 🫶

I work remotely and initially booked another place in Taghazout with weak wifi, so I wanted to use their coworking space. I really liked the facilities, atmosphere, and the coworking space, so I decided to stay here. The highlight of this place is definitely the attention to detail and the people working there!The place is incredibly pristine. They even wash the curtains and kilims after each guest. In the shared bathroom, every guest has their own labeled towel, hanger, and dedicated shelf. Same in the shared kitchen. The rooms were nicely decorated and equipped with a desk and chair. The coworking space was nice as well. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The atmosphere is very social; it’s nice that people can join events at their own pace, so there are no events scheduled during weekday mornings/afternoons, as I’ve seen in other coworking spaces. Overall the services they offer (food, laundry, coworking) were all very reasonably priced as well. All the people working there, especially Shona, Manale, and Maryam were very friendly and attentive!My only regret about this place is that I didn’t plan to stay longer! I am already looking forward to coming back.

We stayed at SunDesk for 10 days and loved it! We first stayed about 6 years ago and were excited to see that all these years on it is still a wonderful, friendly place and with the addition of some new room options. Magda the owner is great and so are the team who work there. Breakfasts are delicious and served on the terrace which has gorgeous views - they're communal and so it's a friendly, chatty environment.We stayed in a couple of different rooms to make our travel dates work. The double room was a good space and conveniently located underneath the office in the main building. We later moved to the Blue Studio and then to the Apartment. Both were gorgeous right on the seafront and with terraces overlooking the beach. The Apartment was really spacious with a big kitchen. WiFi brilliant in all the rooms.Office set up is good and we didn't find it too busy. However it's a quiet office and there is only one Skype room which you need to reserve in advance, so it is tricky if you have lots of calls for your job like we often do.The only problem - SunDesk gets booked out in advance! We would've loved to stay a whole month!Update: We have now stayed 3 times. In 2017, 2025 and 2026. We loved it every time.

I loved Sundesk. The rooms are clean and comfortable which is not easy to find in Taghazout. The team is amazing! Breakfast every day and activities in the evenings. Plus, the location is amazing, close to the beach and all the restaurants and coffee shops. Great Coliving experience. Special mention to the amazing shadowed rooftop with the view on the ocean. I had so many relaxing moments there. Loved it!

I had an amazing time at Sundesk and couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff are really friendly, helpful and nice! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The co working space is really good with plenty of space to work during the day. The breakfasts are amazing in the morning and the lunches provided are very useful for saving time and working during the day. The community aspect of the co working space is the best part of the experience, you’ll easily meet plenty of like minded people you can hang out with after work 🙂

Ik heb hier enkel gebruik gemaakt van de Coworking en niet overnacht. Het was een bijzonder prettige ervaring. Je hebt meerdere plekken binnen het hostel waar je kan plaatsnemen namelijk een binnenruimte (stilte ruimte) en verschillende etages op het dakterras met zon of schaduwplekken (gordijnen kun ja dichttrekken als zonnewering) waardoor je jouw ideale werkplek kan creeeren. Ook is er een keukentje beschikbaar waar je thee en koffie kunt maken of zelfs je eigen ontbijt of lunch. Ook is er de optie om mee te lunchen/dineren en zelf ontbijten als je dat de dag van tevoren aangeeft. Zelf niet gedaan ivm overlappende meetings maar het eten zag er goddelijk uit.Super fijne vriendelijke sfeer en raad het heel erg aan!

Definitely would recommend SunDesk! I stayed for 1 month and SunDesk has great areas for coworking, the food is amazing and the staff are super friendly and helpful if you need anything. I stayed for 3 months. Gambled going here for my first co-living experience ever. It paid off. Wonderful super helpful staff/hosts Malane, Niz, & Nadia could answer all and any questions.Perfect wifi for working. Wonderful crowd. Tranquil view over th town and sea served with a delicious healthy breakfast. 5 mins to the beach.I went out there nearing burmout. Returned healthy(!), fit and recharged. 100% recommend.

This is my 3rd time staying at SunDesk, and it continues to be one of my favorite coliving spaces in the world. 💙 The shared spaces are gorgeous - stunning terraces with ocean views. A lovely coworking space (with ergonomic desk chairs!) and super fast wifi. The community is great - a mix of digital nomads and remote workers of all ages. There are weekly events, free daily breakfast, and lots of opportunities to connect. It's located right in the center of Taghazout, and just a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. You really can't beat this place. My only suggestion would be to book early! It fills up fast, and for good reason. 😊 Thanks again to the team at SunDesk for yet another great stay!

I was very happy with my stay at Sundesk and very impressed of how well everything is organised.Its the little things that really make you feel like home here, e.g. so many delicious home cooked meals like breakfast with homemade oat milk or Kefir, lunches, barbecues, a water filter so you always have drinking water without having to buy endless plastic bottles, that everything is so clean and well-maintained, great wifi, all the rooms have a friendly and individual touch and the hospitality of everyone who works here is outstanding. Also, I like that Magda (the owner) only hires local people and is really involved here in Morocco.And of course the terraces are amazing, with a great View.

I stayed for two weeks at Sundesk coliving for the first time this month and I really enjoyed my stay here!Not every bedroom has a desk, so look out for that. I also would have liked a proper bedside table. Otherwise, my bedroom (at the top of building 2) was cosy and comfortable and secure, and there are plenty of good workspaces in the two buildings and strong reliable Wifi that never interrupted my work. I love the location of being short walking distance to the beach and many restaurants and amenities in Taghazout. And such beautiful views of the village and coastline from the windows and rooftops!I liked having Magda and her hosts Manale and Nadia around physically every day - it gave a personal touch and made it easy to ask if I needed anything. They were always super helpful and friendly and provided a brilliant service! Not to mention, they've fostered a great community of colivers here, many of whom are returners, that I've had the pleasure to get to know and hang out with regularly. The hosts schedule regular mealtimes as a great opportunity to meet everyone and organically plan what we're doing for the week. Not to mention, the meals were very delicious, and what a convenient service to have to save from cooking as often.I’m glad to say that Sundesk really does live up to the hype. SunDesk has a great location and we enjoyed staying here as a couple. There's plenty of opportunity to do your own thing but also always someone there in the communal areas to socialize. What made this place feel like home to us, was the amazing service. There's breakfast every day (though it could definitely start an hour earlier for me personally) and on tuesdays they serve the best BBQ I've had since being there. They always make sure to have vegan/vegetarian options as well.

As the sun sets on games of beach soccer, the coastal town of Taghazout transforms into an evocative scene. Surfers catch the last wave of the day, their dark silhouettes dancing against the the setting sun. Fishermen huddle in gambling circles, loudly shouting as they smack down their cards, patiently awaiting their turn to venture out into the restless ocean. Behind them, boats are sent out one by one to ply their trade in the midnight blue sea. To sit on a SunDesk balcony and watch this play out every evening was a reminder that there is magic in this world. Etched on my mind.Beyond the spectacle is the soul of SunDesk—the people. This space is like a crossroads of the interesting and friendly. It seems SunDesk has an ability to attract mature, open-minded people who are there to enjoy the good times by the ocean, but are still serious and calmly ready to connect.The staff at SunDesk are the key to the incredibly positive and productive atmosphere I experienced. Their tireless dedication is evident in the buzzing hive of activity that SunDesk is. Perfekt durchdachtes Coliving/Coworking. Das gemeinsame leckere Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse, bei dem man die anderen kennenlernt, ist ein super Start in den Tag. Anschließend kann man im Silent Space im Büro arbeiten, oder entspannt Calls von der überdachten Terrasse aus machen. Die Zimmer sind auch toll! Alles ist super sauber und wird ständig gereinigt, man wird toll umsorgt, der Staff kümmert sich liebevoll um alle Belange und es herrscht ein super entspannter Vibe dort. Ich war produktiver als Zuhause und hatte gleichzeitig eine entspannte, tolle Zeit dort. Kann es nur empfehlen - was ich bei meinen Freund*innen schon eifrig mache 😉 Thank you Sundesk!

Absolutely love this place! I've been a couple of times and hope to go back more often.I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and always makes me feel like I'm coming home. The lunches and bbq's they host are great, but I think the communal breakfasts will always be my favourite. Not only because of the great food but also because it is a great, low key, way to meet your fellow colivers and make plans with them.The rooms are all unique and seem to be cleaned continuously.

Had an amazing time at SunDesk! The people are amazing, friendly and helpful and I have enjoyed all the home-cooked meals. Rooms and common areas are super clean and cosy. I spent most of my working days on the rooftop terrace that had excellent internet connection.Location is super close to the beach and many restaurants. It is possible to do all kinds of sports, either with the equipment available at SunDesk or outside (running along the beach, surf, yoga etc.). All the people I met at SunDesk while I was staying there were kind and fun and we went out multiple times together or shared a meal on the terrace of SunDesk.All in all, I would definitely recommend staying here!

I’m torn about leaving a review. On the one hand I have to be truthful about how amazing Sundesk is. On the other, I don’t want to make it harder for me to book my next stays…The staff is the best, Manale and Zina are as helpful and competent hosts as they are friendly, it’s always a treat to hang out with them.The cleaning and cooking crew are top notch as well. Every inch of Sundesk is spotless clean.Now regarding the food, the communal breakfast here is just about the absolute best way to start a day.Homemade everything to your heart’s content, yogurt and oat milk, moroccan pancakes, crepes, cupcakes, deliciously addictive *amlou* to put on everything, granola and oats, fruit salad, omelettes, the list goes on.All is laid out on a big table on the terrace where every morning you can eat and connect with the rest of the guests, Manale and Zina, and if you are lucky, Magda as well.Then there’s lunch, every day a different traditional moroccan dish. Arguably the best food you can get in town.The co-working space is great. Fast reliable internet (best in town), comfortable and warm office space, dedicated meeting room, and of course the terrace if you have a chill and slow day.The rooms are perfect, although I have stayed only in the Single-Double rooms, they are big and spacious with a desk and chair if you feel like you need more privacy while working.On top of all this, it’s located in Taghazout, chill fishing village with great surf spots all around and for all levels. There are also yoga classes all over town, running trail along the beach, volleyball courts, skate parks, easy to book day trips to different places, loads to do aside from surfing.

SunDesk is so far the best coliving I’ve stayed at! And I stayed in many. This place is perfect for digital nomads, surfing lovers, and anyone who would like to experience slow life in the beautiful village of Taghazout.No need to worry about anything at SunDesk! The coworking space has everything one may need for work - proper desks, office chairs, extra monitors, and super-fast internet. There is plenty of space for everyone. The rooms are very cozy and nicely designed. The house is kept very clean, as the cleaning ladies come every day (they do a great job!). The view from the rooftop is spectacular - you can literally see the entire Taghazout, the ocean, and the mountains in the distance. Perfect spot for sunsets and sunrises :)Every day in the morning breakfast is served on the rooftop - delicious food, freshly made by talented cooking ladies <3 They even make their own granola and yogurt! Talking food: home-made lunches (often featuring typical Moroccan food) are prepared 4 times a week, and there is also BBQ every Tuesday. Absolute feast!Magda and the hosts (Manale and Zina) put a lot of effort to make this place feel like home. They are very welcoming, and friendly and try to help with every request that you might have.I loved every single minute of my stay at SunDesk. The house, the community, the atmosphere - everything was perfect and I cannot express how good I felt here. I left a little piece of my heart at SunDesk. I was very very impressed by this place! They clean the rooms daily, they make a large shared breakfast with fresh local produce (they make their own yogurt and almond milk 😱), all the hosts are nice and very helpful ❤️.Internet worked without any issues. They do have some extra screens for those that need them.BRING EARPLUGS! Otherwise you'll be woken up by the local mosque's morning prayer at 6am.

Sundesk is the best Coworking space you can find in Morocco if not in Africa. It’s located in the village of waves Taghazout few kilometres away from Agadir. The working space,and the community are fabulous. J'ai passé une excellente semaine à Sundesk, ce fût le meilleur espace de coworking de mon séjour au Maroc, vraiment rien à redire !

Great coliving spot in a tranquil surf town. Loved working on the terrace with a view of the ocean and making good friends with other nomads. Will be back.Thanks Magda and Team 🙂
